Dual-Force

The Dual-Force uses layered jaw construction and a two-position slip-joint to behave more like a dedicated pair of slip-joint pliers than a folding multi-tool. It carries the Center-Drive centre-axis bit driver and an 82.6 mm plain blade behind a frame lock. At 340 g it is the heaviest tool in Gerber's current line, closing to 118.1 mm.

Stainless steelThe manufacturer does not say which steel this is. "Stainless" covers everything from soft 420J to premium powder steels, so on its own it tells you almost nothing.Treat an unnamed steel as a budget stainless until the maker says otherwise. A maker who uses a good steel usually names it. Editorial guidance, not a measured specification.

What owners say

No point about the Gerber Dual-Force was made by more than one reviewer, so there is nothing here that counts as agreement. What individual reviewers said is listed below.

Read from 2 independent reviews (2 reddit). Fewer than 5 were found, so treat the agreement below as weaker than it looks. A point becomes a pro or a con only when two or more reviewers made it.
